Hello, we’re Hug · Smile · Heal 👋

Hi, I’m Wayne. I started Hug · Smile · Heal with one simple thought: a hug and a smile are two of the best free things in life.

[FILL IN: your real moment – e.g. “A while back, a friend was having a tough week. I didn’t have the right words, so I just gave them a hug. They told me later it was the best part of their day.”] That stuck with me. Sometimes the smallest things make the biggest difference.

So I started doodling. Round, squishy blob buddies. Teddy bears that give proper bear hugs. Big, bubbly letters that shout the things we don’t say enough: Free hugs. Hug it out. Give me a hug.

What we make

Bright, cheerful t-shirts and hoodies that make people smile – the wearer and everyone they walk past. Every design is printed to order in the UK by our print partner, using water-based, vegan-friendly inks. Printing to order means no piles of unsold stock going to waste.

What we believe

• Kindness is contagious. One smile tends to start another.
• Hugs are better when they’re wanted. Always ask first. Not a hugger? A wave, a kind word or a cuppa counts too.
• Feeling good shouldn’t be serious. Our clothes are fun first. They’re not a cure for anything – just a cheerful nudge to look after yourself and each other.

Why the name?

Hug someone who needs it. Smile at a stranger. And give yourself a little time to heal after a rough day. Three small things, one happy brand.
